ok, my first of 2 cdj200's is on the way, i have my mixer, and the receiver, so, now im looking to change the layout of the computer room to suit my new needs.
im planning on making this entire thing out of either a particleboard, or a pressboard, something cheap but sturdy to handle the vibration of any music, if you can recommend something better, please don't hesistate.
this is the floor plan of what i intend to do to the room, yes, i made it in paint, but its pretty decent, haha, ah well.
questions, thoughts, comments? |

I'm just amazed at your Paint skills
Looks like a great layout, I would just place the speakers further apart a bit. But that's just personal preference. |

| IMO put the computer closer to the setup in case you want to use it for DJing in the future. |

I've never been a fan of the computer in the corner of the desk. It just feels strange to use the keyboard like that, and it feels like you have to lean over the desk to use the computer.
I agree, though, move the computer closer. I actually rearranged the portion of my room earlier today so I wouldn't have to move my speakers around when using the computer and spinning. Computer and equipment tables now face each other:

We'll see how it works out =). |

| I would change the right angle corner where you sit at the computer to a rounded corner with a radius of about the same size of 1'6". You can see tables like this in the Ikea home office department and many other places. |
