i've said this before...but i will repeat it again. ALL of the free shows were incredible -- Above and Beyond, Andy Moor, Darude, Ferry Corsten, and the private Paul Oakenfold...
it's unfortunate to hear that the expensive parties sucked, but the free ones were simply incredible :) |

3 out of 4 parties I went to this WMC were beyond words....
Armada night was simply incredible... Armin at pawn shop was amazing, just the vibe alone was worth it and don't get me started on everything else :) and Sander van Doorn at the fifth was a lot of fun too!
For me, this was the funnest WMC i have experienced, but to each their own I guess |

This year was great, but the rain screwed ultra up. The only thing thing that pissed me off was that this year there were so many kids there all faced on acid and were pushing people to get up front on the main stages.
I wanted to go into the house tent, but it was so full, everyone was touching each other. If one fell down, they would of became a piece of the ground. We all had a great time, otherwise. Miami is one of my favourite cities. |

I have to agree with that, SvD party could was outta hand. But the sound was horrible. I am very picky when it comes to a venues sound. I heard people say Mansion sound was off. I think they have a great sound system the problem is people put the volume up and down during the set. That is a big no no no. Same issue at Twilo, the have the phazon system, but there ing retarded, that is club level sound, and they dont play it right!!!
SvD party was the best party I went to, even though I was there for like 2 hrs. As far as Armada night goes, I think Armin play a slack set, the whole first hour was below 130. For someone who only played three hours that was sorry. But he did to try to make it up, but to me that wasnt enough. I have seen him in the last year throw some massive . Like what he did in NYC. What he did at Pawn Shop even though I was not there and Twilo. Was just a mere taste of what he is capable of doing. That is one of his weakest point at times, when he isnt all that hype to play harder within the first hour. If you notice he didnt even jump on the set. That is a first for me. All I saw was a jesus pose, and the raise of the earphones. And yes some please stop telling artists to play MindCircus. I remember PvD playing it shortly after playing a hard song, and it nearly clear 20% of the people to go the terrace. People really get down. I could literally count people with my hands when that were dancing when that was dropped!!!! It was a classic a loooooooooooooonng time ago. Time to get over it. I cant believe people payed so much money for PvD, I heard from my brothers friend many people were poketing money @ Space on enterances. I feel sorry for them....
Many venues were a disasters, Twilo has horrible bartending, I remember getting 5 drinks that were super slack. So I stop drinking that, then I get 2 beers, that felt like if they were put in a mircrowave. :wtf: I came @ 12 there, and they made me wait. Then when I tell them I had a table they told me I had to wait. Thats ed up. And they were charging an arm and a leg too, and then they told me they were all taken even though I RVSP, becuase I knew I wanted to sit through this event. Not even space, God I love those Drink Passes :toothless. PvD was the least day I wasted money, and got wasted. Its time to get passed trance, and thank god I satarted listening to other sound, becuase those were the parties that made it. Sander tore the patio at space, so did Yooshi night right after I left Twilo. Morillo could have been probably the best party if it wasnt for the rain!!!!
Only tickets I bought were the Twilo, and SvD. Which werent evepensive. But I already know next WMC I plan to travel. It is the best thing to do. The type of crowd that I saw at WMC wasnt all that great. I saw sooo many random people wasted, it was sickening hearing people puke. Not even the worst crowd in Miami can pull that off. I do not know if you guys noticed that either? |

Those that left early missed an outstanding set by Erick Morillo...so dope how he kept the crowd fired up throughout all the rain. Gabriel & Dresden at Pawn Shop was INSANE, too! So much energy...Josh Gabriel is the man. Threw down sick track after sick track. We need an ID of his encore track. |
Morillo was great in the rain. |
