It happened last night at Cal State University at Northridge in the San Fernando Valley. Gibson was speaking to a film class about his movies, and several members of the Mayan community came to hear the famous director.
After Gibson's presentation, the crowd was allowed to ask questions. Alicia Estrada, an Assistant Professor of Central American Studies at CSUN, challenged Gibson, asking him if he had read about the Mayan culture before shooting the controversial film. Gibson said he had.
Estrada persisted, stating that representations in the movie that the Mayans engaged in sacrificial ceremonies and had bloodthirsty tendencies were both wrong and racist. Estrada and others tell TMZ that Gibson exploded in anger, responding, "Lady, F**k off."
We're told Gibson also became extremely angry when members of the Mayan community protested on how they were portrayed in the film. The emotional Mayan members were escorted out of the room, and we're told Gibson screamed a parting shot -- "Make your own movie!" |

+1 haha i wish i was there to hear gibson tell the lady to off i wouldve laughed in her face...
its only a matter of time before spartans and mutants come out and say the movie 300 was racist. |

The bitch college professor who started it wouldnt get off the F*ing microphone and was asking all these deep mayan things a professor and not a director would know.
Then she demanded an apology to her, the school, and all the mayan people all over the world for misrepresenting them.
People are just jabbin at this guy. Hes way more toelrant than I am |

But Ahmadinejad rebutted Snow’s charges, telling reporters in Tehran, “We have been building a nuclear reactor for peaceful purposes only, but now we plan to drop that peaceful reactor on top of those damned Spartans.”
Elsewhere, a new report indicates that the British eat too much salt, Americans do not eat enough fruit and vegetables, and Nicole Richie has not eaten since 2004. |

| I can understand their anger. If I made a movie portraying blacks as lazy porch monkeys that do nothing but eat watermelon, fried chicken, and collards, and then go around raping white women... I don't think I could hide behind the excuse "it's just a movie!" |
