I was curious if I were to buy a pair of cdjs that start skipping randomly after playing in vinyl mode for a while is it fixable and if so how much per deck?

your better off buying new ones imo, unless your a whiz at electronics and can do it yourself. repairs are usually expensive as hell from what ive heard.

it works great now! there was a little plastic thing that held the laser eye at the right height. but it broke in shipping. so i glued a piece of a pizza box in there, and it worked perfect!

Here in SoCal Pioneer charges $140 flat fee. If they need to order parts, that's extra. I know, I had mine fixed twice already. :(

Ha! I had my CDs get stuck on the 3500's. That was not fun at all! :( I also had problem with the 3500's not reading my CDs.
On other words, happens no matter what CD players you use.
