I hadn't heard anything about this party before my friend called saying he had extra tickets. I'm glad I went but the venue was pretty ty as usual, however the music more than made up for it.
Desyn was already spinning on the roof when we got there around midnight. It was going great but the cops kept telling desyn to turn it down or else they'll shut down the party for good. They went back and forth playing that game for a while - desyn turns it down, cops back off, slowly turns the volume back up, repeat process. They moved it inside after about two hours.
Nobody bitched about the volume once we went inside but it was crowded as hell as they moved into the hotel lobby. The whole setup was very laid back and unconventional. However 1 bar with two bartenders were serving 300+ people, not to mention the bar was in a bottleneck waaaay in the corner.
