FL Studio 4.1 question

If I have a piano sample. I want one note to be played but extended the entire the frame (8 bars) how would I do so. I tried everything.
Like holding down the pedal on a piano. |

I might be wrong, but you open up the channel settings and go to the SMP [samples / shape properties] tab and change the time settings / time multiplier.
In addition, you can look at the INS tab under channel settings and increase the REL (release time) knob. |

Reverb might be able to get you close to a sustain pedal effect, or get a longer sample. |
