| I used to make trance CDs or electronic music CDs for friends of mine who were girls and some liked them, some didn't. It really depended on what music they already were into. If they were into the harder edged stuff like metal or punk, then a harder sound might be better. If they are into pop, folk, lighter rock or dance music, then the more chilled, melodic or vocal based stuff seems to work. If they are into hip hop or r&b...house music might work, esp deep house. |

i dunno, minimal techno as a genre is(was?) a trend and girls like trends. I think theres probably plenty of girls who are into it but probably in a denser population towards the areas where the music is made...
People who make more obscure music in Europe always seem to be relating that scene with cocaine girls who have trendy haircuts.
Lol this thread just made me think of that legowelt track called "hockey girl" it wasnt done under his regular name it was some alias, but its got the lyrics where danny is saying on a heavily vocoded mic "hockey girl hockey slut thats the kind i like to " I know he was playing that track when he toured america...I wonder how it worked out with the girls there. |
