1 & 2 are some of the best games I've played. I started playing 3, but couldn't get into it so much.

That's a shame.. and a bit odd at the same time.. Because as I've said so many times in the past, the first is the beginning, and the 3rd is the end of that story. 2nd one is completely redundant as what comes to the whole Silent Hill thing. Although I don't even consider The Room and the other later ones as any part of the whole 'saga'.

Loved the second one, the underground prison section scared the out of me! :nervous:

Yeah that was about the best part.. Did you look out a window and see a bed floating in the air at some point in the game? ;)

:wtf: so it is real, i thought i imagined it or something:rolleyes: i still have that game, but it freezes when i reach Bar Neely's (the one with "There was a HOLE here. It's gone now." writing):(

anyways the third game is definitely my fave. it has the best atmosphere - for instance the Otherworld Hospital, or the Church later on :wtf: :nervous:

few weeks ago i got the UFO ending. man that cracked me up, pure win! :stongue: :stongue:
i have Extreme Hard I unlocked, i tried it but its damn hard! you really have to be a nutcake to unlock them all... but i will try :D

i rank the series 3-1-2, when the overall stuff is considered. but storywise - SH2 is the best. then 1 then 3.
i haven't played the others cause i heard they were just a waste of time :o

Just played SH3 recently and that game makes me wanna buy a PS3. Haven't played games in a long time, but damn, that one was good.
The most amazing part imho is the death scene in the room with the mirror. I luckily played without a walkthrough and went there completely unsuspectingly. Needless to say I shat bricks. That kind of stuff scares and amazes me so much more than plain monsters jumping in your face.

yeah that was one of the best parts, my fav is still 'hooking up' with alessa's memory in the amusement park, but yeah, good .

Well, I finally got to play Silent Hill, and my very first one was Homecoming for PS3. It was the most terrifying experience ever. It was such a rush. I loved the fear that came over me. I couldn't beat it though, it was too hard. Had to quit the damn game. Gave it back.

Next up was Silent Hill 4: the Room. Also scary but nowhere near as terrifying as Homecoming, and def nowhere near as memorable. Came somewhat close to beating it but gave up. Quit. Traded it in.

Then I got Silent Hill Origins for PSP. Damn hard. Scary. Quit. Traded it in.

Now I got Silent Hill 1 from the PSN Store. Pretty creepy, I lost my save data so I gotta start from scratch again. I'm stuck with this one whether I like it or not.

Great series, makes Resident Evil look like Disneyland in comparison. (I am also a Resident Evil fan and have 5 too.)
