Neither of those are classical music.

He said he wants to play the classical versions and then the trance version of the same song after it. I can't think of anything that fits that description more perfectly than William Orbits - Pieces In a Modern Style.

Orbit's "synthesized remaking" of classical pieces don't make his versions on Pieces In A Modern Style anywhere close to trance yet, even if they are mostly electronic productions. The Ferry Corsten remixes of Barber's Adagio For Strings and Ravel's Pavane Pour Une Infante Défunte are another story, they are trance.
