A video like that makes me love DT more, and his response to the release of this video is what makes me not like him more. C'mon guys, I can understand his no-set-recording stance, but it's YouTube, it's not ruining any "magical musical journey", it's just showing him as a human having some fun. I could understand if it was a video like Sven and Richie hooking up, but it's not, it's a video of DT being himself. He's a hypocrite to get all diva about it.

It's weeks like this where I say to myself SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE. These New York DJs are getting old and tired. Why do you think Victor Calderone is rising up so quickly, Richie Santana and Bailey too. I love DT and his music, but it's times like this (and the JP thing), where I think to myself, where the hell has New York gone in the eyes of the world's EDM fans? I'm sure everyone laughs when they think about the lack of anything new coming out of this city.

i was at a show a few months ago in which a DJ spun a track that A. he wasn't supposed to be in posession of, let alone remix, and B. that wasn't released. i asked him what it was and he gave me the artist name but asked that i please not let anyone know that he'd spun it. naturally, i had already recorded a vid of him spinning it beforehand, but out of respect, kept it off youtube.

unfortunately, in this day in age no one's off limits. i've had people take pics of me w/their cell phones in public w/o my permission. i'm sure they could put the pics up on the internet if they wanted to, and what can i do about it? if you're gonna do something in public, it had better be something you're not ashamed of the whole world seeing ..erm... Michael Richards ... .

Danny Tenaglia has been queeney about the pictures and video thing for a long time!

I worked on a party of his a few years back, and he bitched me out for taking pictures at my own party. Mind you me and other friends of mine were the ones paying him! and.. I wasn't even snapping pics of him.

I know alot of people love him and at one time he was hands down my favorite DJ, I used to go to Vinyl every friday, and some of his earlier productions are stil some of my favorite records, but something has changed with him between here and there. I do beleive he has an EGO far beyond what many people see. My personal beleif was it was about the people at his party not about him, now its about him and not the people at his party.

When he started making rules for his Be Yourself party that was when I just had enough. His rants on the mic about people on their cell phones. I know not everyone needs to be on their phone while on the dancefloor, but seriously once in a while someone may actually have an important call they may need to take!

Honestly i whish he would stop bitching and go back to making Bottom Heavy, Chuggy, Beats. DIbiza was garbage and he claimed it took him years to produce.

He should be flattered that people actually want to record him.

yeah, it kinda comes with the territory ya know? it's pretty much the same as a celebrity asking not to be photographed and asking for privacy. as human beings, sure they have the right to their privacy... which is why at any point they could STOP being celebrities, go back to school and become IT Technicians or something lol.

I Don't think that'll work, but its not like people are photographing him and filming him when he's on the can invading his privacy.
