| Ya I lost 2 years worth of Beatport downloads and purchases a few years back because I was still running windows :p . Hard drive crashed and burned on me. |

| When I started spinning and purchasing vinyl/downloads, I deleted all of my downloaded files ~30gigs. Obviously it's different for me because I chose to delete them but, I still miss alot of the tracks that I had. Particularly now that I play CD's only and I have a limited access to getting older music legally. |

| I lost over 100GBs of various media and documents, when I moved to NY. That's what happens, when the hard drive falls out of a packing box. I was like :wtf:, when it fell out of the box, knowing it probably wouldn't work, after I re-installed it. I was upset, to say the least. Since then, I parted out my desktop, and have been using my laptop... |

On the contrary - most of the media I had came straight from all my CDs, cassettes, and Vinyl. The rest were documents - lots of them. |

| i lost about 3000 songs (i forget how many gigs) when my hd died. it was a bitch to say the least |
