id buy my mum a house and a new car and give her a percentage of my winnings, id buy myself a nice house with a studio in the basement, a cheap and reliable car, sell all my in my room, buy new laptop, get a super fast internet connection, some drugg, large pizza and get my girlfriend to live with me in my super cool house.

I suppose it depends how much I win but if it were a lot I would...
Pay off my tuition.
Pay off the rest of my rent/bills for the remainder of my lease.
Buy a house/condo.
Buy a car.
Give my parents $1,000,000 for all the money they've wasted on me.
Bribe one specific teacher I have to look past my shoddy attendance record (why the is there attendance credit in college?!?!).
Then I'd just go consumer crazy and buy everything I could think of that I wanted or needed.
After I was satisfied I'd throw the rest in the bank or into growth funds |

Depends on how much the winnings were... but probably:
Buy a house
By my parents a house
By my wife's parents a house
Buy a kick-ass car or two
Loads of sound equipment for my studio
Then dump the rest in the bank and treat the interest as income. |

Say after taxes were all said and done I came away with $80 million...
- $10 mil. to Jordan Julius Endowment Fund (Fund in the name of my cousin for researching brain cancer, who died of it at 7 years old)
- $30 mil. distributed amongst savings accounts and various investments, stocks, etc.
- $5 mil. to my parents
- $2 mil. to my brother
The rest would go to...
- Nice house on Puget Sound
- Cabin somewhere
- Home studio
- Maybe start up a club in Seattle
Anything I have leftover from the extra $33 would go into a savings account. If I were to win it now, I'd probably also end up continuing to work for the next ten or fifteen years or so. Couldn't hurt to score some extra cash. |
