so i've launched a new project and i'm getting back into the promoting game, using what i've learned last time and trying out some new techniques
so far the hype is pretty good

thanks guys
i'm surrounded by a great team this time
my graphics/IT guy is very talented
his flyers have been nominated for flyer of the year numerous times (hasn't won just yet)
last time around, his flyer for thirsty (the old night) was simply amazing, everyone commented on it (was nominated that year)
probably my best piece of advise for aspiring djs is to not go through this on your own
when you get a collective together and everyone does their part, you can reach higher than doing this alone
get a crew together and start doing your own thing
in places where edm isn't all that prominent, try doing a monthly or the odd special event where you play
build a name and following from there
