Never Mind the Mainstream at Fly Nightclub, April 20th.
TORONTO -- Friday, April 20th, Bitchslap! returns to Fly Nightclub with: All-Stars. This 6th installment in the special event series features DJ sets from Hogtown’s finest: Neill MacLeod, DJTK, Deko-ze and Bitchslap! resident, Sydney Blu.
Bitchslap! is a special underground dance event series in Toronto for forward thinking music lovers. Now in its second year, Bitchslap! Began as the flagship night for 5ive Nightclub (R.I.P.) and has blossomed into a fabulous city-wide event series.
Neill Macleod launched his career playing at Montreal’s, Unity II, Sky, Stereo / Stereo Bar, Parking, Black & Blue Leather Party and Bal des Boys. Currently residing in Toronto he’s working with producer, Stephan Grondin. [www.neillmacleod.com]
DJTK voted XTRA Magazine’s “Best DJ of 2005” is the only woman to spin in a men’s spa in North America, Spa Excess in Toronto. An active film music producer her original music has been and will be featured in various documentary films. She is also a regular contributor to Scenester Magazine. [www.djtk.net]
“Canada’s hardest working DJ”, Deko-ze, is fresh from his “Delicious” CD tour, and the Bitchslap! crew is pleased as punch to have him back as a special guest for “All-Stars”. Fusing multiple genres into one wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am of a set, Deko-ze's energetic and charismatic stage presence and original approach to programming have allowed him a huge following in both the gay and straight scenes. Deko-ze was signed to a multi-year artist/producer development deal with Hi-Bias Records in 2006. [www.deko-ze.com]

okay so im rediculously excited for this...ive been to a couple other Bitchlap parties but never at FLY before....
so i ahve a question...
ive heard fly is known as a 'gay' club.....which is kewl i totally understand that theirs a massive need in this city for that, but anyone who what its going to like on a Bitchslap night???
like is their going to be straight gurls for us straight guys makin the trek???? or is this that just completely outta question lol |

The last bitchslap! event at Fly had a somewhat mixed crowd. I'd say about 70% were gay and 30% straight. That's a high number of "Straight" folk for a gay club.
I'll be going to this for sure...it's my official after party for failing all my exams... I can't wait to take a year off of ing school :whip:
