got there late

didnt get to stay as long I wanted

really liked what i saw and heard while i was there. Also this might have been the very first time that i have been sober at a club post 3 am in about a year so it was a pretty surreal experience.

The decor looked great, the hot tub on the main floor was a great touch and the folks were great as usual: Danielle & Benny

Axwell was dropping tracks that I was actually enjoying up until "Tell Me Why" :p

It got good again. Haider, I looked for you but couldnt get through the throngs of Axwell-ites and Lennox's guido fist pumping by the DJ booth. ;D

I was actually talking about this with some people, some of the really good club nights I've had were Sound-Bar fridays in 2004/2005. 2006 was a bit of a stumble, but its good to see Sound-Bar regaining its footing, I havent been there in almost a year until some of the more recent outings and I'm having fun again.

So good job, Haider - good bookings, good job on rebuilding the vibe.

Henrik b - Soul Heaven ftw.

He also played some bassy remix of "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" that I really liked. First time at Sound-Bar, first time seeing Axwell and I enjoyed both. I'm ready for Sven.
Ben Brown

alright, here goes.

Yuris, thank you so much for your kind words. I am happy to see people coming back and actually enjoying themselves @ sound-bar again. Met a lot of good people in the mean time and hopefully we can keep building the vibe. Axwell spun an amazing set, even throwing in remixes of Michael Jackson's Beat It and House of Pain's Jump Around at the end.

Bring on Sven!!

omg... i totally just had a dream that i was at the Sven show and it was CRAZY!!!! it was very similar to that video you posted....should give you an indication of how many times ive watched that... lol

Re: Axwell... right before Beat It came on.. he had that beginning loop going.. and I *knew* I knew that beat from SOMEWHERE.. but I just couldn't place it... then the hallmark sounds of the song came in and it was like oOOOOOhhhhh ... beat it. was pretty cool if a bit random. Didn't get much of any reaction from the crowd, pretty much because I think most people didn't know what to make of it. Jump Around was pretty cool, I liked that version he played. Later on after that he put on some stuff I really liked. Im not really into his more "commercial" stuff.

Christen (or anyone else) - did he play 123?? I don't remember hearing it but considering the state I was in that's not saying much so I was wondering... I do have a pic that shows a cd labeled "123"... that's why I'm asking whether he actually did play it. :eyespop:

delobbo
oh shoot.... im listening to the song now.. hadnt heard it in a while... I think he did play it!
haider
wait a second........Aquadyne, are you trying to get into my pants?
