Hi.

I currently use some cheap equipment to DJ. Stanton C303's and a cheap American Audio mixer. I've gotten comfortable with it and can put together a set decently without mistakes.

If I were to play out with places that have Pioneer 1000's , what should I except? What should i try to learn beforehand so i can switch over comfortably?

Do I have to worry about the platter tension? The pitch resolution?
Should I even try vinyl mode Or should I just stick to CD mode?

Would be nice if you could answer these questions and add anythign else I should know... thanks

It's gonna be like night and day for you I'm betting. If you've already got the basics then the transition will be fine for you. You'll definitely know what you've been missing!

If you don't get a chance to play on the 1000's for a while before the gig leave vinyl mode alone. I went from 200's to pioneers DVJ's and that alone was a little wierd to get used to at first.
