hey trance buddies
I'm looking into getting a condensor mic, primarily for recording vocals but also to record anything else I fancy (percussion, guitars, doors slamming ect) and I was wondering if i could get some advice.
I'd imagine going for a decent brand is a good first step (AKG?)
I've been checking out this one
the AKG C2000B:

also there's the classic Rode NT1
http://www.dv247.com/invt/10229/
and that comes with a shockmount
I quite like the look of the second. Has anyone got either of these mics? Or recommend any others? my budget is around £100, and I want to get a shock mount too. any advice would be mucho appreciated.
Thanks and hugs

| I have an MXL 990. Its really durable, I don't have anything to compare the sound quality too though, and truth be told I know nothing about mics:p I can recommend it on the basis of its durability though, because I've had it three years and its handled all the abuse I've dished out:D |
