ConnectATL website launches w/ 'That Exposure Show' and Soulpress.net

ConnectATL, Soulpress.net & ThatExposureShow joining forces…
Six months ago in the basement of the Relapse Theater a mixed bag of local artists and patrons gathered to open a dialogue about the idea of an Atlanta artist community. That idea grew into a monthly discussion dubbed ConnectATL. That discussion led to three collaboration events in the last three months involving over 50 local Atlanta artist and supporters.
And we're just getting started.
Today it is my pleasure to announce the official launch of the ConnectATL.com online community forum. We have partnered up local writer Jon Gos and Soulpress.net to bring you local coverage of Atlanta's resurging counter culture.
And for your listening pleasure the broadcast section of the site is being placed in the very capable hands of Chris Meadows and 'That Exposure Show' which is entering it's second season April 1st. Hat's off to ya Chris.
The website will also feature a web forum that will serve as a continuation of the discussions held monthly at Relapse.
We will also have a section for freelance writers to submit content for publication on Soulpress.

Our first feature article was done by guest writer Parker Stephens who did a bang up job on an interview with James Holden at The Loft on March 1st.

It has taken some time, though things are all starting to come together! Take a moment to browse the site, and view photos from our first (3) ConnectATL Events; A Weekend With The Greenskeepers, James Holden & The Breaks and Electro House Debauchery @ ESL. As Turner mentioned, Jon Gos has a great zine that will be our voice for all things Atlanta, including upcoming shows, interviews, record reviews and much more.
That Exposure Show is BACK!!! If you are a DJ looking for some "exposure", make sure to get involved and submit a mix. ConnectATL will be house That Exposure Show in our Broadcast section and will be adding additional podcasts very soon.
All those interested in getting involved should get on over to the Forum and sign up. We have separate forums for those interested in getting involved in the Atlanta Community. There is also a place to post your events and all upcoming Atlanta happenings.
