To All my Bay Area Friends, I'm Moving Back!

I'm just not liking it here in San Diego. I can't get into the southern california vibe.
I need to move on, because I feet like I'm stuck here and don't progress much in my productions.
One 2-weeks notice later and I should be back after next week.
can't wait to party with everyone again like back in the day.

lol if you grow up in the bay area you normally dont love any other place. i grew up in sac and i love the bay area, but i also love it down here in southern cali. i like that its not too hot. |

Yeah I know what you mean, but i actually grew up in germany and only started the american thing in my highschool freshman year.
All my friends are here and all the gigs i play are northern California so why stay down there.
Musically i just don't think it's as great as people hype it up to be in southern california... with the exception of massives. Maybe i just haven't been down here long enough to know all the secret spots to go.

I'm sorry that SoCal didn't work for you :-( But, I'm happy that you listened to your heart and decided to do something about it :-) As for me, I wouldn't be happy up in NorCal as it is just too cold for me and I would miss the sunshine terribly. Whatever floats your boat is the best thing IMHO! Good luck with your move and I hope you become more productive after you get settled in back up in the bay area :-)

I'll be back to socal alot since my friends from Deepsky and Summerchannel throw shindigs every now and then in LA...
..AND yes it would be an interesting combination having the North and south mixed up.... according to plate tectonics Scientists it's only about another 1.5 million years until San Francisco and LA are fused.. They are moving at about 1 inch per year towards each other... and then It'll be time to PARTY!

I saw you last time at Ten15 with John Beaver and Cyber Joe, I believe it was 4 Strings. I saw you with your laptop at the booth and thought your face looked familiar. I didn't realized it was you until a few days later when you started chatting with Blurr here about Traktor and I saw your avatar..... anyway... hit us up when you get back in town and we'll share a few drinks. Between Ten and Ruby, it will be a great summer in the City. |
