I dont think Pauly is getting whacked...
i think that by bringing Pauly to the boat, and questioning him about the Ralphie/Johnny issue, it gave Tony a chance to TEST him in his own way...
thats why Paulie had that dream of Big in his kitchen... "Will i hold up when being tested" (or something like that)...
great episode...
and Entourage was good too! |

I really think that Tony was seriuosly contemplated it and kind of got pissed at himself when he couldn't do it. Like when he got up to go get them drinks, Tony seemed to be furious with himself that he couldn't bring himself to to do it as much as he though he should. JMHO :-) |

Tony didn't appreciate Pauly's big mouth either. |

Exactly! I think that's the main reason why Tony was even contemplaating killing him as his was fearful that Pauley would break under pressure from the feds or that he would leak info to the wrong people. JMHO :-) |

Looks like the writers have written each of the last episodes to make you think someone from NJ (Soprano family) is going to get whacked.
The last episode it was Pauly and the episode before it was Chris. |

I think Tony loves Christopher but I have an odd hunch that he's going to die. Maybe he won't get wacked, but something seems fishy. His character is doing too good (i.e. no drugs, married, has a kid, made the movie, playing things pretty safe, etc.) for him to make it out just fine. Seems like that's not a happy ending that the producers are looking for whent he series ends. Hmmmmm.... I think Christopher's days are numbered somehow.... |
That as about the MOST PREDICTABLE Sopranos episode I have ever seen. The writers set it up perfectly for Christopher to die and we could see it was coming for weeks now!!! What a shame the writers didn't surprise us.
However, I really love how they focused on Tony's hypocracy as he's been griping and even feeling satisfied that he had to kill Christopher due to the fact that he was a "druggy," so they have Tony go and smoke out and do shrooms (among other things) with one of Christopher's chicks. That's so Tony - exactly how his messed up mind works IMHO. |

| Is Peyote the same as shrooms? I know Indians (not the dot, but the feather) use Peyote for religious regions. I know its a hallucinogen so it probably has the same effects as shrooms. It was so funny to see him on the floor of Ceasars cracking up. I love how they HBO shows always use actual popular venues. |

| No, actually peyote is a cactus, a very poisonous one at that. It has arsenic in it too. I've head it is more intense than shrooms. Sorry to confuse, I just misspoke (oops). |

| one of the better books i've read in the past few years was "The Teachings of Don Juan" by Carlos Casteneda... the entire book is a man's journey on peyote. it was fascinating but that drugs crazy |
