It's exactly the same in the PC world, dude, they have the EXACT SAME HARDWARE. The only difference between your $1500 Macbook and a $1000 HP/Dell/Acer/Lenovo/etc. is the operating system and preconfigured software (iWhatever). The hardware is very much the same (except for the TPM).

I don't know how someone savvy enough to have a 4GHz CPU (3.8GHz is as fast as Intel or AMD has ever made for the consumer market, so you must know something) can possibly bring XP to its knees twice a year.

True (they are 2 Woodcrest dual-cores on one die) but they are still 4 core CPUs.
Apparently there won't be true quad-core Xeons until next year, with the Nehalem architecture. |

| wow never mind seems liek everyone is too COOL on this website .. i was just expressing my ideas... obviously ive never seen a dj use a pc... it tells you something.. that dj's arent computer experts but for sakes if you use a computer for music production, dj purposes, film editing, music editing, photo editing.. anything that involves using a computer for a little more then microsoft fkn office... u see them using macs maybe your right and they just love the lit up apple on the front and think it looks sooo cool they spend the extra money on it over a "comparable" pc.. i love apple and ill always support it even though i used to be one of you cool dudes bashing everything apple till i saved enough money to actually buy one ... and by the way to the awesome dude that mentioned amd and intel only make processors up to 3.8 ghz.. maybe you should read up about that because if you overclock a intel p4 extreme edition you get the 4.0ghz out of it .. still sucks ass in my opinion. oh and xp brings itself to its knees . |
