well you let everyone else know when you find out.. all their friends.. you guys were practically his family. he spent so much damn time here. he always kept me posted on what was going on. half of his conversations were about stuff he found/read/posted on ta. i thought it only appropriate to let you all know along with the rest of his friends. yeah, i could've waited till way after the fact. in fact, i could've never said anything and maybe you would wonder why he disappeared. but i know what ta meant to him.. i know his "int4rweb p3n0r" (as he would say) would've grown just by seeing all these responses.

i think a lot of people and myself can account to this. i am sure many members have conversations with others outside of TA about material that they read on TA. not the half-arsed topic stuff, but more of the serious discussion threads.

in my opinion, you guys and gals are family to me. this is counting the people who left, are noobs, suspended, illiterate, or [ insert more here ]. love or hate you guys, i still care about each and everyone of you. maybe it's because i've been browsing this site since 2001/2, so members have grown on me.

TA funeral cuddle puddle!!!!!

*punches everyone in the face!*

seriously, Guster seemed like a stand up person. I've never really talked to him, but he seemed like a genuinely nice and good person. We will still have to make a birthday thread for him. Despite bans.

it is sad indeed, i have been thinking about this off and on all day. i didn't really know guster, i've certainly seen him around and may have even talked to him once or twice but i can't say i was his friend. however, it's always sad to see a member of your community die and like leopold and others i care about you guys and feel a real sense of community here. RIP guster, and my condolences to family and friends as well..

i understand those of you that might've been skeptical. the internet is an awfully cruel place.. people joke about sick stuff sometimes.

but, this isn't a joke, as much as i wish it were.

also, i think it's important that you guys know that he died accidentally. this was not a suicide, though you could go into a debate about slow suicide, etc.

i hope, if anything, for those of you that did and did not know him that he serves as a wake-up call for anyone that walks the dangerous line of substance abuse. if you play close to dangerous waters, eventually you will fall in.

and sometimes you don't make it back out.

again, thank you for all of your concerns. for some reason, i'm getting the most comfort out of posting on here.. i guess because ta will always be his true home.

I must say, given that you are his ex and all, I find it very thoughtful of you to come on here and notify all of us of his passing. You most certainly didn't have to do it, but you did. I'll take your word when you say this site meant a lot to him.

Sometimes the best comfort comes in the strangest ways. TA is good for many things, and even the cor can turn a new leaf every so often. With the few exchanges we've had, he was a quality person. He, his family and close friends will be in my thoughts tonight.

I'll raise my wine glass for him tonight.

I don't think it's a matter of turning a new leaf. Let's face it, the majority of us who post often are decent people and yeah, sometimes we all push boundaries in pursuit of having a laugh, but we're still human & when something serious happens can deal with it in the proper manner. I've met enough people off this board to know that there's a lot of good here, even if some sections don't show it.

also, thanks for making this a sticky. that's really nice/respectful.

things are alright on this end.. getting stuff together for the wake/funeral. i'm almost tempted to slip in a little ta symbol for him. heh..

ok, this may sound really bad, but i'm not intending it to be...

but...
