:(

I love (and prefer) vinyl, but to each their own. Regardless, it looks like the people are having a good time, which is most important.
SPAWNmaster
not an uncommon sight these days as most of the people i play with as well as most clubs ive been to use cdjs. ironically CDJ's are now beginning to be used as tabletops for laptops now!
i got big pants
wow...look at that old ass computer monitor on the right...lol
T-Soma
Vinyl is just too expensive for most.
Omega_Blue
meh, i'm a huge supporter of cd's and i doubt i'll ever go back to vinyl.
Trance Nutter
Don't see the big deal.

Pretty much every international dj I've seen playing in Adelaide do that.

And it makes sense to me if you are using CDJ's to do that.

(I play vinyl)

it's a common sight these days, i'm pretty much all cdj now myself

i still buy the tracks i really like on vinyl too and will always enjoy the sound of vinyl, but digital is just so much simpler and convenient

:( it is sad, myself, im really trying hard to learn from the start, ive had decks and all for a while but never was able to apply myself 100%, times r different now and trying to learn to beatmatch for a start (laugh at me if u must). but it makes me think... should i look at cdjs or even laptop style (like T-Soma has been demonstrating for me) because times are changing. the $factor is there also... i love vinyl... simple as that, but the cost factor, weight factor of transporting the decks and vinyl would b tonnz different if it was cdjs and cds, or laptop and some equipment.... im kinda questioning what to do!

... any comments/advice?

T-Soma
Since you have already got a pair of 1200s, do what I did and get Serato or something similar.
Its fairly cheap software if you consider the amount you save on vinyl.
ReDzY
Vinyl is only acceptable if your runnin SSL or the likes.... Very retarded to be using anything but cd or laptop at this point
