I dont know you but you tore into me for saying philly is beat man i used to throw parties in philly, at gods basement space evoloution and gas the good parties in philly are very few and in between since 114 and emerald city went down. 612 closed 611 got tiny and local 13 throws about 4 parties a year. There is not one club with a big room shampoo thats totaly worn out it was worn out back when egypt was up. please understand i know a load of philly djs and they agree that the scene is hurting big time. not trying to make ememys but if you know the scene you would agree that the 3 promoters are fighting over the same small venues with the same 15 djs that still play progressive tiesto trance, bringing in about 100 people and 60 percent know each other. so im sorry if i offended anyone but thats just how i feel........ |
Wow, this is piss poor. Gods Basement & Space? What are you, some kind of jaded raver? I can't figure out if you're some 15 year old with this awful grammer and spelling I'm seeing here, or if you're just some uneducated 30 year old making irrelevant old school references. FYI: enemies > ememys |

I'm sorry you feel the way you feel bro, and for the sudden and surprising change of heart. Deep Nights and myself strive to bring the best in Philadelphia, and our self gratification comes only through the happiness of others through our nightlife. The last time i seen you in Philadelphia was at One14, we shared drinks and good conversations.
Again i apologize for the way you feel and hope to see you at an event shortly, please feel free to contact me anytime and i'll make sure you're taken care of all night. And this goes to anyone who would take the trip to one of our events. I'm always a PM away.
The Philly scene has improved dramatically in the last year or so, and we've all noticed more "out-of-towners" and new faces show alot more often. The 18 to enter, 21 to drink parties at Transit have been a major hit, as well as the famed warehouse events thrown by deep nights, among many more smaller weeklies and one-offs going on at XO Lounge, Social Club, Etc. I myself will start a monthly at Transit and bring more big names, as well as Philly, New York, Chicago, Boston, Florida, and D.C. locals through on a regular basis.
Thanks to my family and friends from philly and new york for showing continuous love and support for our events.

you are patient, my friend..i don't think i would react the same if someone called me a cokehead on a public forum.. |

Let's not forget Deep Nights! Especially since he is 18!!!
Most fun in a warehouse one could ever have!
And Gods Basement lives on, thanks to Mickey and TruSkool productions.
Truth is; Philly's underground scene is no where near dead; which isn't really reflected in "club" turnout; but efforts have been made to kinda bring the two groups together a little more, and every kind work/gesture helps!
Check out my pix Here for some recent party pix. |

This guy hasn't been out in a while.
Philly has a lot of obstacles, no dance on the radio, liquor laws etc.. but I think it's the people stuck on the "remember when" that kill it.. All that time wasted "remembering" when you could be DOING! |
