Prison is FUN! :p

lol yeah, its nice to have, but could be a much bigger risk than its worth, no doubt

My dad loved Russia.
Especially the time he was offered an Army truck and uniform for sale in the street.

No, children of mixed parentage in the 80's didn't qualify for citizenship, so I have a UK passport.

Half your luck. If I'd had a UK/EU passport back when I was traveling, I seriously doubt I ever would have stopped.

Well, maybe eventually. Otherwise I would have ended up as one of those crusty 50 year old hippy guys, still doing the traveler circuit.

There's nothing worse :nervous: :stongue:

Sort of drove through it in a rental car, it didn't take very long so I didn't really count it :haha:

And a shame, too! One of my favorite travel stops. Land of stunning design, beautiful friendly people, great house music, systembolaget, and bjorn borg underwear that looks great on boys. :)

I love to travel, but nothing beats really getting to know a foreign place and making it home. Top 3 cities I've lived in for 1+ years:

1)Vienna
2)Chicago
3)Moscow

Europe is underrated, Southeast Asia and other dodgy dirt cheap thrillseeking places overrated.

i think everyone has fantasized about doing this at some time or another...

for those that actually have...how'd you solve little problems like showering...or sleeping? did you stay at hostel's?
Frenchie
One of my guy friends ans his girlfriend back-packed for 7 months and they had some generous families that let them stay in their house if they did some work for them like helped them on the farm, or gardening..stuff like that.

I'd love to do this at some point in my life.

Floorfiller
also another question...did you have language barrier problems?
