i agree completely with that statement. one + one is an excellent example of mixing dump truck well.

Is GU trying to match pace with Fabric now?

not really, i think altho, speaking of fabric, freelands cd is more like a fabric mixcd than a typical gucd.

I finally got around to listen to the entire 2 CDs and I'm quite impressed. Disc 1 is one of the most energetic sets I've heard in quite a long time. It's just banging all the way through. From the very first beats you just know it's going to be quite a ride. Pretty much a peak time set, all the way.

Disc 2 is a whole different story, a more chilled and relaxed mix, though banging and funky at times.

This is a nice addition to the GU series, specially after the fest that was Dubfire's Taipei. I've never heard anything by Adam Freeland before this, and I'll definitely be checking out more of his stuff.

4/5 stars

This CD in rocks, much better than the previous few GU's. The first disc is intense/bouncy/fun to listen to. I'm not really familiar with this disc's style, anyone know any compilations with a similar sound ??

Nice release, nothing exceptional, considering it's from Freeland's hand.

Great breaks as usual there, differente for GU standard, i means, progressive stuff, but i would say, that's really UNDERGROUND

Anyway, anything from Freeland is worthy for listening :)

Compared with Taipei mix, this is the best GU comp ever hehe
