I might(maybe) go see Max Graham tonight. He kicks ass.

One of the problems with the Buffalo Scene(there really isnt one) is that it is horribly disorganized. There are a whole 30 people in Buffalo that still really (appreciate the music)/(look for it) and they are spread out because there isnt ONE good place to go per evening... or its not properly promoted.

what a mess. At least at Prespa I knew Iould find OK beats on a Friday and Saturday night. It was guaranteed... so thats pretty much the only place I would go to.

I'm playin at MODE tonight for the fellow TA's. Mostly House and Electro from 11-2. Should be a decent crowd. Stop in have a few & say hi.

No TA's last week :( but it was a good time. A week later and I'm back at Mode again tonight. House and Electro from 11-2 so stop in and check it out.

Unfortunately this is my last weekend as a Buffalo TA. Well, I don't know if it's that unfortunate really, but I will sincerely miss trekking up to Toronto. I had some great times here though as well. Judge Jules was a lot of fun and every trip to Dragonfly was always great as well.
I'll in the tri-state area for a few weeks, maybe try to make it to a NYC event and then I'll be in SoCal
The best to all of you.

I made my first trip to the Pearl Street Patio party last night. I was really awesome. The atmosphere was very chill, plenty of room to dance, and a very nice crowd. The music was a bit too techy for me at first when I arrived around 11 30. Around 1230 a new DJ started spinning good hard house and I was getting back into the groove again. Things really started picking up around 1 30, but sadly I had to leave.

It was my first time hearing a couple local DJs tear it up, and i was very impressed. I didn't spend a dime, and had a killer time. I will def. be up there next week, and highly recommend anyone who hasn't gone, to check er out.

I agree! I've been a handfull of times and have never had a bad time! And the drinks are really not that pricey.

Didn't spend a dime? You gotta at least buy a couple drinks to support the dj's. If the bar doesn't make any $$$ you can kiss the dj's goodbye.

I'm gonna try to make it there next Sunday but it's tough gettin the energy after Fri/Sat Night plus the Beach on Sunday.

So yeah, made it up to Pearl street last night and had a blast like always, but....the best part of the night came after. Someone had mentioned that there was going to be an after party at Staples on Allen street, so I checked it out....awesome! I never do allen street so it was nice checking out a new sceen. It was funny cause we walked in the place and the bar was almost empty, and the bartender was like, "party is in the back." Then we walked in the back and went into this real dark room that looked like someones family room. The Dj was playing on some table above everyone. (the whole five minute transition between walking into the bar, having the creepy bartender say "party is in the back" and walking into this room could be a perfect movie sceen.) Anyway the music was pretty good, got better near the end with i think his name is mike (the birthday guy who was at pearl street) and the curly hair guy with the gotea (sp?) spun for a little bit. The bottle beer selection was huge and it was just a great chill place. I guess it was the first night they did this and plan on doing every sunday now after pearl. It went right up until four am with the dark room pretty filled up. Anyway, i would suggest anyone to atleast check this out next week!!!
