Ok, so as you all know, NYC as large as it is, does what it does every year, every spring summer and fall, it does it for the people.
So this year I thought I'd start the listing off with something fresh and exciting. Add alittle flavor to the normal 'events' we are all used to, so check'em if you got the time to roam the city....
As always, please contribute...

"Untitled: An Exhibition of Original Skateboard Art" Opens April 12
Curator Cey Adams Sez: "Skateboarding's Come to the 'Hood"
"Untitled: An Exhibition of Original Skateboard Art," a group show featuring the work of nearly four dozen artists, will open to the public with a reception at the Eyejammie Fine Arts Gallery on the evening of Thursday, April 12 between six and nine o'clock. The gallery is located at 516 W.25th Street, Suite 306, between 10th and 11th Avenues. The show will remain up through Saturday, May 5.
The show has been curated by Cey Adams, the legendary graphic designer who ran Def Jam's in-house design studio for 15 years. "I met [black skateboarding pioneer] Stevie Williams half a dozen years ago, but I never thought much about the culture," Adams says. "All of a sudden I noticed all these kids skating in my Brooklyn neighborhood and I thought, 'Wow! Where is this coming from?'" In fact, it largely comes from such popular rappers who skate as Pharrell, Kanye West, and Lupe Fiasco, the latter of whom had a huge hit in 2006 with a love song about skateboarding called "Kick Push." The skateboard craze, which originated in southern California 30 years ago, had never before meant much to black urbanites.
Accordingly, Adams says that "Untitled" is meant to acknowledge "a new wave of black and Latino skateboarders and skateboard artists." The show includes boards designed by such notable visual artists as Chris Yormick, Claw Money, Cycle, Dennis McNett, Douglas Miles, Espo, Ezo, Ghost, Haze, Jen "Props" Larkin, Morning Breath, Dr. Revolt, Shepard Fairey, Sket One, Greg Lamarche, Keene "Team" Carse, Tristan Eaton, Andy Kessler, and Jahmal Williams. Sacha "SHR" Jenkins has contributed a board in memory of pioneering black skateboarder Harold Hunter.
"Untitled" is sponsored by Consolidated Skateboards, Kid Robot, Mass Appeal, and Phat Farm.
