Hey
I did a search and came up with nothing.
Just wondering if someone could quickly explain how to use soundfonts?
Ive done some looking around and what i can gather its just a compression format for samples where you need a soundfont player to hear them.
i was thinking of buying some soundfonts and was wondering whats the best way to put them in fruity loops?
Would the bs-16 vst be the best way?
Is there any freeware programs that can do this?
or is there a better way?
can i simply open them and put them in my sequencer or is it much more complicated than this?
Oh and i dont have a soundblaster card.
thanks. |

Fruity has a soundfont player, there is a demo soundfont and a folder on the player.
Just open the folder and copy soundfonts into that folder then you can load them up.
Quality soundfonts can be a few meg while cheap one's will be small, i dont use soundfonts anymore but do a search on the net and you will find lots of free soundsfonts for you to use in your music. |
