I'm wondering, did her daughter mind it or something? You guys were almost the same age and stuff :p |

I know, but she had a bf too at that time, and was happy that her mom was happy. Strange thing is, after the end of the summer when I moved back to college, she gave me permission to date her daughter. :eyes: |

My mom has a REALLY big crush on an attorney who works at her firm. He's 26. lol The funny part is that from what she tells me, he seems to dig her as well. They have like EVERYthing in common, especially a big music connection. My mom is really into her music. She loves Audioslave, Pink Floyd, Supertramp...lotta older bands, but the cool older bands and he loves the same stuff. They lend each other CD's and DVD's and always have the same exact opinion on it, among other things like politics and religion. They're like soul mates practically, but both are too chicken to make a move. She says once in a while they'll pass each other in the office and he'll wink at her. lol
But yea, that'd be kinda weird if my mom started dating a guy my age. I mean, I'd be happy for her, but sort of embarrassed too. lol |

That was the same age difference in my last relationship. It's not a bad thing if both of you are on the same maturity level. Just be prepared (and things get serious), not everyone is going to approve of the age difference. My parents were livid at first, and never really accepted it...which was difficult and added stress. Also, since she is 17, she'd not going to be ready to settle down for any large amount of time. Unless, it's some freak love at first sight thing, you'll probably get attached more than she will...look at yourself when you were 17.
If this isn't a serious thing, then hit it up ;) just be careful and make sure she doesn't go around blabbing to everyone. |

What if things start getting serious, then they marry. Then you meet him and he starts hitting on you. :wtf: |

he's a big geek, but i can see where she finds him attractive. not my cup of tea. i think he's a virgin to be honest. he's really big in the calvary chapel thing and he's kind of religious. :wtf: |
