this was one of those "pull an all nighter because you think you have a good idea" things. this song by Boards of Canada is essentially a five-minute sample of this totally unreal lo-fi ambient noise, and I just could not listen to it without hearing this beat in my head playing over it.

I spent a lot of time processing the many layers of percussion. the structure is way off in the sample because obviously it's a rough draft. I'd really love to hear any feedback at all so I can tell whether or not to finish this very strange project. any words or letters or even punctuation marks would be appreciated. thanks for listening.

I haven't listened to the boards of canada for a looong time. I'm not sure if i like when the percussion glitches. I think this is a good start though. You should start the song with the breaks and fade in the BOC samples. Add a funky bassline and make the kick stronger and deeper. Other than that this is a fun track. Keep it up
