Hey everyone....
My friends and I are starting to plan our yearly vacation and we are talking about going to Ibiza next summer. We want to inquire about prices early to see if this is something we can do and how many people among our group of friends are really interested in going. I was wondering who out there in TA land has been there, how you booked your trip, and how much it cost approximately. Any info you all have is GREATLY appreciated!!
Thanks!

best time of my life... i went for about 2 months last year and stayed in san antonio (which is kinda the tier part but still awesome) but i got an apartment w/ one other person for 700 euros a month (350 per person)...
i could walk from my place to cafe del mar and the sunset strip... eden, es paradis... bar m... loads of places... take a quick taxi ride to the rest of the clubs... definitely worth it
doesn't even cost that much to get there either... fly from barcelona and then go to ibiza on vueling airlines or anything else cheap...
highly recommended
i also never booked a hotel until i got there... stayed in a hostel one night, got an apartment the next day...
i might be going again at the end of may, the Space opening party was so fun last year that i want to go again this year |

i went in '03 for 3 nights... craziness! i went in high season (august) which i dont recommend because the clubs are TOO rammed... hotels are pretty cheap but make sure that if you're actually planning on sleeping some (for some people this isnt an issue) that your hotel has AC because Ibiza is ing HOT...
also i was already in amsterdam so it was a bit cheaper to get to ibiza... not sure what it would be from here |

This is all great info!
What airlines did you all fly? What is considered reasonable for a flight to Ibiza? Ive heard $1000.. is that right? There used to be a company that did party trips out there called Bring it on Tours, but I do not think they are in business anymore.
Everyone keeps telling me that ait conditioning is not something to be taken for granted though....:)
Any more info?
Thanks!

I booked most of our stay through ibiza-spotlight.com, just google ibiza and it's the first link to come up. We stayed at Apart-Hotel Garbi in Playa Den Bossa, within walking distance to Space, it was a nice hotel right on the beach.
Check out the above web-site, it has the answers to every possible question you may have. |

I went from Boston - Amsterdam for like $240, then from there to Barcelona for like $70, then from there to Ibiza for 10 Euros... - that was all one way flights though... it all depends on when you go too... Coming back to America costed me like $600 one way flight... but this was also from Belgium, not Spain.
I've also been checking to see what prices are flying from Tampa to Spain (because im in florida currently) and I can't find anything too cheap... I think it'd almost be worth taking a really cheap flight to NYC or something then fly overseas... but I'm still not sure
Not everywhere has air conditioning... if i was you, i'd definitely make sure the place has it before you book it. I didn't realize this until AFTER i did... dumb move on my part. |

| Last time I went (2 years ago) it was 900 bucks round trip from Dallas to Ibiza with one stop in Frankfurt. We are already planning our trip this summer and the flights from the travel agency are about 1100 from dallas in June. Use a travel agent, but have them show you options. |
