what do you do with the synth to keep it so driving? lots of EQ's to keep it at a high level? tell me pls :)

Well yeah, pretty much EQ. Full Bass and almost full high.
I offen have 2 synths on top of each other. One at C3 and one at C4.
I try to use Delay2 in some cases, make the synths sound fuller.

yeah some delays and some reverb... good choice :)
so you cut out the middle sounds of the synths with your EQ? |

Nop, I donīt cut the middle. The mid is on 50%. :)
But u have to tweek every sound different. I donīt use the same settings on every synth sound.
And one thing thatīs pretty important is the Envelope. Fool around with the envelope til it sound good.
And donīt forget the filter envelope.

Yeah, i must agree.. Beams of Gaia is one of the BEST hard trance tracks i have ever heard.. I want it on vinyl so I can blow up a rave with it.. i guess I will have to be satisfied with mixing it on VTT.
and made with fruity loops! that's a big middle finger to all those people out there who say you aren't a real producer unless you have million dollar studio.
pounding it in my headphones right now.
just downloaded phoenix, i'll let you know what i think in a few minutes. |

just gottta say ya traxx rule 100%, beams of gaia is in me top 10 all time & i wish it was on vinyl, cos that wud get some hammering ( i wud think)

yeah i think it must rip them apart :) but why doesn't the track rip ours then? :) i think my compu would just be too slow to handle it then... i want/need a quicker one :( |
