Room 960 is a nice venue, but its ridiculously small . . not to mention being in Hartford CT.
I have had some good times there, but the crowd is a bunch of people who go there to be cool, not to listen to trance.
Go if you wanna see Markus (awesome performer), just realize you may be the only person in the club who actually knows who he is :sadgreen:
Also, the bus schedule that was posted on the first page of this thread is total BS.
Its at least a 4.5hr ride due to nasty traffic - and the club closes at 1:50 am. |

| Markus will be going on at 11/11:30. Im not sure if Cashzilla had a bad experience but, its not what he says. You can look at all of bora's pictures on his website, and you can clearly see that the people are there for the music. I have opened for several DJ’s there. Yea of course you get your "cool" people, but that’s every club. 960 is small, but very intimate, sound is great, and a lot of attractive people. As far as the bus goes, let me clarify from Cashzilla again. Its Saturday, no traffic, if it was a Friday, way different story. If anyone was there for Above & Beyond, you know what kind of crowd will be there for Markus. Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday! |

If you read my other post - i stated that i have had both good and bad experiences there.
You are right - saturday traffic will be more inline with the bus's schedule.
The picture below shows a typical night at room 960 (around midnight).
Good luck moving around. Its like this every time. Even though awesome Artists perform there, the crowd still shows up to get drunk and hear "techno".

I would say our parties at Room 960 attract a 50/50 trendy/music crowd. I've observed on Trance nights more music people show up and they get into the music more compared to our House nights.
That was a train schedule by the way. I would recommend avoiding buses from NYC to Hartford.
Here are some videos from Marcin777's camera from our Above and Beyond party at Room 960.

| never been to this club but you might want to use different photos to show the vibe of the place. like i said i've never been there and imo those pictures don't really make me want to go because they don't really look like they are having a great time listening to good music. if i lived closer and had a car i would go though cause it's markus. |

I got those pics from when G&D were there.

Its a good venue, but the crowd sucks.
Its not Boramusic's fault - its because Hartford CT is not a place where Trance and House music are popular . . . .
. . . people just wanna get drunk and listen to Cascada (or something close to it).
IMHO the 2nd floor of the Brickyard, Upper on the rocks, or VIP would be better places to have Trance Artists Perform.
I know all of this because i used to live in Hartford but now live in NYC.
Visiting home is such a let down because of the time constraints, and the crowd at events. |

| i dont care about the crowd that much, they can do whatever they want :) after all i know what i go there for. As long as it is not crowded like in NYC( the nyc crowd is not any better, half the people scream armin while remy is spinning and every 10th male is shirtless guido ) where u cant move at all, it should all be good. Last summer the outside Markus event was pretty cool. |
