not positive about this but didn't Made move the DT @ Spirit show last year to crobar because spirit was shut down. I think Made will just find another spot if the club is closed. I can see this lance jordan dude getting bumped if pacha is closed on friday. |
Oh so can I, but the question is if Mike & Co. can keep it 18+ if they move to Studio. If not you're gonna have a lot of angry TAs...well maybe just a few. |

we're obviously getting ahead of ourselves with making assumptions like that...but im sure the result would simply be disappointment. |

The power outage story was a cover up. I heard through the grape vine that pacha's security beat up an undercover cop, I also heard it had something to do with drugs.....will we ever know what really happened......prob not. |

Yep, it's the undercover cop story, heard that from a bunch of different reliable sources... Pretty crazy, kinda mob-like when you hear the details. |

so the question presents itself: why are you holding back on telling the story? |

haha well I've said my load of TRUTH about Pacha on other boards and they always seem to find out (Google or searches), and literally all start fake screen names to personally hate on me or whoever agrees and chimes in (once one of these screennames openly said "there's a reason we're the number one club in the country; you're just a bitter dj who's never spun here" when i said that i hadn't had a good time there in months). It's pathetic on their part but who's to say they aren't on TA? IDK... might as well tell you though, so I don't seem like a douche thinking I'm cool cos I have info, it's not like that haha.
Heard first from my boy last night and then from some1 who was there who told me this morning, among a few other people... Someone was really beat up by the bouncers, no1 is still sure why, and it turns out he was an undercover cop. The call was made and the place was shut down shortly after, which brings us to the question of "If they have a reason (to threaten) to close Pacha down, what holds them from doing it on a JP night or Boris night or whatever the new cracked-out crowd happens to be?" Everyone knows Pacha has a deal with the cops, and the fact that they were closed so quickly once they crossed the boundaries proves this. I'm sure someone involved with Pacha will come on here and find this post, but so be it, you wanted to know what the story was haha. |

Thanks for the info. pacha, if they need to do that then they aren't running the club right in the first place. Instead of attacking detractors, they should use the critism as a platform for change. That just shows the Kremlin type mismanagement of the place.
The story is actually quite amusing. I bet the cop was the biggest douche bag prior to his ass-whopping. Hopefully the spot opens up next weekend 4 corsten, as i'm sure it will. If not, oh well, as i said in a prior post, Made will probably move it if necessary. I hate pacha anyway. |

| i realize there is loads of seediness in the nightclub industry... but seriously, who runs these places... nyu frat boys??? its always the same story with this sort of thing. howcome nightclub owners are never just responsible adults who happen to run a house of debauchery??? lol, i'm going to try to convince my mother to buy one. |

I hope it was that douchebag undercover cop who goes around asking for 'skittles'... he looks like a biker, black long hair, black wife beater, black jeans... he's always poking his head around ... I've seen him at crobar, pacha and even back at spirit. One time I kneeled down to tie my shoe and I felt someone standing over me... I look up and see him and some other undercover standing over me just staring at me... I stand up and ask them "can i help you officers and smile... they Look at each other and walk away...
I hate that guy |

If Ferry does go to Studio it will not be an 18 + night. It will 21+ and IMO, I think Ferry, Armin, and all the top trance jocks that come to New York should play @ Studio. You people are gonna say that I'm favoring Studio and that Pacha is better and blah blah blah, but to keep it real Studio is the only place now (Since Spirit and Roxy are gone) in the city that can support big acts like this. If Armin were to play @ Pacha again when the weather is nice that place would of been twice as packed over and the firemarshall prolly would of shut the doors @ a certain point and Bindra would be loosing potential money. Everyone gets fooled by Pacha's dancefloor, it doesnt take much to fill that main floor, but if you go to Studio's room and you see its a bit stuffy and the parties going you kno there's at least a 1,000 people there for sure and that more people can come through. But hey thats my opinion you can take it for what its worth. Hope everyone had a good weekend. :) |
