Do it. Bonus points if you're pinging.
I did it when I first moved to Adelaide, because I didn't know anybody here, and may end up doing it again, since none of my friends here are really that into EDM. Not sure how open they would be to coming to a show. |

I never have gotten the whole "I'm not going unless a friend is going with me" deal. If you like the artist's music, you'll have fun if someone is with you or not. |

Hah, I've got tinnitus, my feet hurt, my throat is sore, my elbow aches and I can't get this smile out of my face :)
The beginning sucked - they made us wait for 2 hours outside, and the guy who opened for Corsten played some rather uninteresting electro house for another 3 hours. I was already losing my faith when Corsten took over the turntables. For 3 hours, he blew me away.
Top Moments:
1) Ferry stopped playing, out of the blue, and (excited as I was, and facing him) I yelled "You rock!". He nodded and dropped "Rock Your Body Rock". Sure, he was going to play it anyway, but the timing simply rocked my socks... I didn't have time to ask him about his shampoo, though :D
2) When Ferry played a remix of Robert Miles' "Children". It's been a while since I last heard a set from him (apart from tonight), so I don't know whether he's been playing this for a while, but I do know it fit the mix perfectly.
3) Some random girl grabbed my hands, and started saying "OMG, congratulations! I mean, you're so excited and you're dancing so passionately that it actually made my night! Congratulations, keep it up!", and walked away. I was puzzled because I didn't expect anyone to pay attention to me, let alone have someone congratulate me for jumping around... but, yeah, I was having the time of my life there :p
The DJ that played after Corsten sucked too, so I left soon after he stopped playing (I just stood there a few minutes waiting for the sun to rise, and then came back home).
Oh well, time for a nap and then, gotta get ready for work :toothless

Curitiba is a nice city, I've been there once. But, is Chute Boxe some kind of Brazilian Kick-Boxing? |
