Yesterday morning I get woken up by a letter telling me that a bank charge of 20 pounds is going to be put through because of a "Failed Transaction" from my mobile company T-Mobile.
For, wait for it.... £270, that's almost $500
First i ing freak out, first off, i havent used my mobile phone for over half a year because the phone screen is ed up and my normal bill is only about 30 dollars, which i pay without fail every month. Even though the phone is a worthless piece of e.
I phone them up. The reason they are trying to, (and would have if i had the money in my account)to take the money is because i "may want to make international calls in the future at some point".
They take away the charges, but I am totally raging, because if i had the £270 in my account, i actually had £254, then they would have taken it off me and left me with all. I was saved by the fact i never had enough money to pay it all. Now i have to pay the ing bank £20. How the hell can a company go into your bank account and take out money that you've never been warned about, and they havent been authorised to? This isn't 5 or ten pounds, thats a monthly wage for someone who has to juggle studying and a social life.
Thuis wasn't written in my contract about this charge, do i have grounds to take them to court?
Bull. |

Probably.
But you'd end up losing more time and money than you originally had.
And you'd lose the suit. |

| Let your bank know, and then switch cell providers. I certainly wouldn't want to stick with my provider if they pulled something like that. |

That was VERY unlike you, IGK.
Quick. Crack an IGK-joke to balance this thread out, again. |

dude, go into the bank and tell them they can't charge you that amount, it's illegal. If they refuse threaten to take them to the small claims court

I switched banks and just withdrew all of my money from my savings from my old bank, didn't bother to close the account.
They keep charging me fees and now I owe them 100 bucks.
I ain't payin' . |
