hmm very interesting

ur not gona believe this but i never HEARD this version of the track (i was a total n00b back then)

but i LOVEEEE placebo's version to DEATH (love the moodiness/expressive nature of the track as they did it).

man i so gotta hear INFUSIONS version shietz

lol, Mike started going out in 2003, so the tracks of that year are the classics to him.

its all relative, and thats whats so cool about doing a classics night.

I can pinpoint my introduction to trance to music to my freshman year of college, downloading Kamaya Painters tracks, Armin - Communication, Tiesto - Sparkles, etc... from Napster and forcing my preppy buddies to listen to them while we were pregaming lol. This was in 2000 I think.

I dunno....

I know everyone has their own perspective on classics but for me I always go by 2 rules

1. Its not a classic if it gets played all the time. If its played all the time, its an anthem.

2. It will with stand the test of time; Usually give it 5 years till I can call it a classic

omg I would do ANYTHING to go back to those days....listening to those toons at the guv was the best years of my LIFE (so far)!!!!!!

I am sooo excited about this party I almost wish it wasn't annouced yet because its TOO far away to be this excited!! I have been waiting FOREVER for Thrillseekers!! never seen him live (canada INCLUDED!!)

haha, yeah, we wanted people to know to save the date.

we're going to try and keep people's excitement up over the next few months with freshly mixed classic sets from some of the locals playing on the night, so def check back with this thread often. :D
