Hope some of you guys are still online. Magda is NOT starting at 10pm. Droog is opening up the main room (like I originally thought).
Either way though, Hawtin is still starting around the time that I mentioned... 4-4:30am. |

Hello peoples,
The set times posted above are NOT correct.
The way it goes is:
Droog 10 - 11:30 (or 12)
Magda 11:30 - 1:30
Hawtin 1:30 - 4
Carola 4-7

Good music from the begining (Andrei/Droog). Richie Hawtin blew me away! Madga was ing sick too. Marco was alright, nothing special. Hawtin played the set of the night. |

Hawtin didnt have me till 4-5 tracks in, but jesus, he got an atmosphere going that was insane.
Droog were laying it down on the patio too.
Magda was great. I like her dilligence and attention. |

i repeat what she says above - lol.
magda set up richie so perfectly for his hard banging techno set that come out of left field for me. even when he took it more minimal, he had these wicked driving basslines that keep the energy going. this had to be the best set i've heard from richie in about 1 year - nights like these is what makes me suffer through the 3-4 bad gigs for a set like last nights - where he was dropping bombs, keeping it interesting with lots of loops and , and it was hard and fast techno.
very cool meeting miss julia - but clovis and i never found each other :( |

i didn't even know my friend Andre was opening the main room. i liked his set...
Magda for me started off good then played an hour of too much minimal, then brought it back the last 20 minutes.
Ritchie's set was the best of the night no question. 2 hours of some really cool stuff. btw, he was supposedly going to play the Spider Room until 8am...wondering if he did.
and yep Droog played good tunes on the patio. i can't stand all the smoke there so i never stay. |
