Hi Janix, welcome to the music production forum. Hope you your experience here is educational.
I have to say, the lead sound you have used is quite good for someone who's only recently started using FL. Personally i use Reason myself so can't comment any further on your sequencer but I'll comment on the track itself.
The lead is quite nice, has a lot of attack and very little decay. I'd perhaps stretch the note on the sequencer a little to lengthen the sound of the note. Add some delay/reverb onto the sound to give it a more airy spacey feel to it.
Are you using the samples that came with Fruity for the percussion?
I'd recommend buying the Vengeance Essential Club Sounds 1 or 2. Preferably 1 for percussion. Set you back about £40 but well worth it. They contain some samples pre-defined for trance have contain everything you need to get started in trance. Google it :)
There's no pre-defined way of what to have and what not to have in a trance track but your essentially looking for a number of things:
Percussion, Bass, Lead Sounds, FX, Pads. If you search around tranceaddict and the net in general you may find a few free packs that people are giving away. VipZone do some nice samples for free and for sale.
Good effort for a first track which will not doubt improve the more you become familiar with Fruity.
