Road rage

ok so last night i was a victim of road rage. anyone ever have to deal with this? i mean SERIOUS road rage, not just someone giving u the bird as they cut you off.
so i pull up to block buster last night to return a movie, and i did a jackass thing that i'm sure EVERYONE has done at one point in their life. instead of parking in a parking spot, i just pulled my car up in front of the store and hopped out to return my movie. i checked my rear view mirror first to make sure there was no one behind me. i was all good. i hop out and return my movie and i notice a big white van had pulled up behind me and i was blocking his way. big deal, go around me right? however, i still felt a little guilty and as i'm crossing the street to get back to my car (in front of his van as he's slowing getting ready to go around my car), i put my hand up to him to sort of acknowledge the whole situation. sorta like, "my bad, i'm moving now, sorry". and the mother****** pulls his van up so close to my car that he pins me between the driver side of my car and the passenger side of his. i thought he was going to run over my foot. so yea he's got me crushed between the 2 cars and i'm pushing his van with my hands (like in the pushup position) with everything i have, but obviously i can't move a car lol. but yea it irritated my shoulder injury and my ing arm has been on fire since last night with burning pain. :( it was kinda freaky. after he moved out of my way, this dude walking out of blockbuster who saw it was shocked and was like, "omg are you ok?" and i was like, "no" and i just got in my car really quick and took off after the van and got his tag number and make and model and all that and then i just went home. lol
he was like a normal looking middle aged latin guy in dress slacks. he got out of his van to go into this pet store or whatever. there's a restaurant next to the pet store and there were a lot of people around outside, lots of kids and stuff. i honestly sat there and was tempted to get my tennis racket out of my trunk and run up to him and beat him with it. haha but i refrained.
i figured there's nothing i can really do with no witness statements. my word against his, bla bla bla. my mom and co-workers made me call the police this morning but the front desk guy who answered the non-emergency line sort of talked me out of it. he was just being real and saying it's a big pain in the ass and i'd have to pick him out of a lineup, bla bla bla. but i honestly got a good look at him, i could pick him out of a lineup no sweat.
my good friend is a fire fighter and she's got hookups so she's gonna run his tag and get his address. lol
should i leave it alone?
i told my friend in nyc about it and he was like, "yea so? that happens every day here" :sadgreen:

What a in' dickwad.
Yes leave it alone don't be an immature little prick like him.
Who DOESN'T just pull up to the door? I do this all the time, there's no point in finding a spot, turning off your car, walking to the store, dropping off the movie(s), walking back trying to remember where you parked.pfffft.
And ya, that stuff happens here a lot. |

whatever, i think people who behave that way are in nuts. i mean sure, we all lose it once in a while, but jesus christ. practically running someone over and pinning them up against their car because they blocked your precious little way for probably 10 seconds?

basically, there are idiots everywhere. not just dumb people, but the stupidest, most questionable people ever, everywhere.
as far as 'road rage' that isnt what happened. and if road rage happens, its because both people are s, and from your story you did nothing questionable, right?| |

my friend of course was like, "let's go slash his tires! hahah" which is really lame, and i would never do that.
i bet he's married with kids...seemed like that type.
i would like to show up at his door and be like, "hi! remember me? you practically ran me over the other night because i blocked your way at blockbuster. oh hey! is this your wife? hi miss, did u know ur husband runs people over when they piss him off?" and then tell him he better apologize to me or else i'm pressing charges and say i have witness statements AND there's cameras in the parking lot at block buster. you know, scare him a little.
oh whatever. i probably wont do anything though. it just pisses me off that people act this way. |
