My sincere respects go to this man who was willing to die so bravely.
pvdAngel
Big respects to him for such a heroic action. Real shame he lost his life through it at the worst of times.

RIP.
djmaxima
he was a true hero.

what's ed up is that he survived the holocaust and now some crazy asian kid comes and kills him...

when i saw on the news that he was killed and that he had survived the holocaust i felt horrible.
CONNERMAN2000
The true definition of hero right there.
ZeJayMan
After reading about him surviving the holocaust to die in a way such as this, it really sickens me. This guy was a real modern day martyr and shows he was taking the importance of the education and safety of his students to a whole new level. RIP.

This is a real bummer.
tubularbills
i hope the school does something in regards to him. name a building or a park or something.

if saving your own students doesn't get your name in the university biz, then what the hell does? [besides money]

major respect. Anyone willing to do something like this in a time when most are panicing deserve a thumbs up

absolutely

and r.i.p. it's a shame that people have to die like this because of selfish people.
wizniz
with all due respect (and theres tons, because that act was immensely brave/heroic) i dont think that was a bad way to die.

being a hero and saving kids from a crazy gunman beats the hell out of dying of old age in a retirement home any day imho

respect.

sorry to interrupt but your sig is awesome! me loves!

okay so what constitutes "a good way to die"

isn't protecting people a "good way" to die?

and getting shot- quick, somewhat painless (you go numb)

i mean everyone has to die somehow, what makes this a "bad death?"

eckmek
I would think this to be a "good dead" if such a thing exists.

This man will live on forever in the memory of his students and the people at VA Tech. Massive respect. RIP.

With all the possible horrible ways to die through various diseases and such, especially at his older age, at lease it was with an act of valor.
