| Street meat... not new but hey.. it's staple Toronto food. |

^^^ ew... Toronto has the worst street meat in Canada. Hot Dogs and sausage doesn't define a big variety or any culinary prowess.
So tell us what kind of food you like Jrod, and we can steer you in the right direction. |

If it's a true Toronto deli (downtown), Shopsy's has been a true favourite for over 80 years. http://www.shopsys.ca/
It's at Yonge and Front street.
My fav deli is much further up Bathurst (Coleman's), but not in the downtown are. |

I was gonna say Shopsy's as well as it's right across the street from the Hockey Hall Of Fame. There's a sandwich named after Bill Cosby..if that's not a FTW right there, I dunno what is |

| There's a Marche just up Yonge Street from the HHoF. They're in the same complex so you should be able to get from there to the hall of fame without going outside. For variety and quality, I'd say Marche is the way to go...price isn't bad either for what and where it is IMO. |
