Also I am curious about how Crobar Miami/Chicago is compared to Crobar NYC. Or how Pacha IBIZA is compared to PACHA NYC. I don't think it always is a reliable predictor of how a club might turn out here. It doesn't mean you get the SAME djs/producers, as much as we might want that to happen. Well you can *hope* but we will have to wait and see I suppose...
Pacha NYC is NOTHING like Pacha Ibiza or Pacha Barcelona or Mallorca.

Pacha Ibiza was nothing to write home about... Pacha Barcelona is on another level though.

yea they vary. Pacha Ibiza is very upscale and it is nothing to write home about it in comparison to Space or Amnesia. Pacha is pulling the plug in Mallorca.

i think some of the best memories i have ever had back home were partying wednesday nights @ Mansion.

Very upscale and very beautiful people.

Great times when I was single. :stongue:

I think that's our problem with most of the venues in this city lol

Ive only been there a few times but I really like they lay out of the place.

Whats weak about the one in miami is the crowd. When I was at S&D during wmc 20% of the people knew who was spinning.

You can't judge a place in Miami based off of the crowd it had during WMC. Most of those places down there don't even play EDM the other 51 weeks out of the year.

i think i heard someone say NY was like a loungey place.

i dunno too much yet but Mansion is great. Only thing is that it is horrible for huge parties since 90% of the venue is V.I.P.

Still hands down the best club on South Beach.

As far as the big room vs small room, I feel like the big rooms can get the talent but the small rooms nearly always have a better vibe, so it's a trade-off. IMO Eco, as far as people your/my age getting into the bottle joints, I'm not sure that that in and of itself is a problem, but I agree that it makes a Pacha or T or ... look less attractive when you gotta shell out $50 (cover, taxis) before the night is over...without even getting any booze for that. I really do think the solution is a combination of a few Massive events (summerstage, Sensation at MSG perhaps, etc.) and a more localized scene the rest of the time (I'd spend every Friday at Love if I could).

Peace y'all, as I decide whether to drop that $50 to hit up Ferry tonight :P
