reminds me that i should get a bike. won't be a bike like this though. i'd rather go for a granny bike with bad breaks.

That sucks. Was it fully chained up?

No. It was left in an unlocked garage, which in retrospect was a bad idea.

Live and learn, I guess.

Holy crap man, beautiful.

Why didn't you go w/ disk brakes?

The wheels from my old bike were relatively new, so I used them, and they didn't have disk hubs :(...hence the rim brakes. Disc brakes will be the next upgrade though, plus new wheels.

That's one on my shortlist, although I want a klein or merlin custom build if I'm honest. Dunno if it's worth getting a full sus or just sticking to what I'm used to, a hardtail

^^depends on what you're riding but in the city there definitely is no need for a full sus for me - hardtail is more then enough imho, the only real problem i haven't sprung for it is money and space cuz i live in a studio apt and i barely have enough space for my stuff let alone a bike.

Ian
well i'm right near some decent forestry stuff but most of the tracks are unrideable for 3-4 months a year at least due to the weather. It's a tough one really
