hello boys and girls, i know it's been quite a long time, but work and things have kept me away... however as you can see i've been busy.
This is definately a mix whose time has come. or actually, the time has come for this mix...
I have spent a long time compiling this piece and deciding how i wanted to put it together. it truly is a slice of my taste in music at the moment, deep, brooding but still with a funky edge; slamming kickdrums, mind-warping baselines, quirky little blips, bleeps, clicks and scathing lyrics. it's my favorite, and i think, best work in years.

What started as a funny little idea after my last gig has become reality... I'll be honest the sound of dance musaic here in Ft. Lauderdale isan't exactly what one would call 'underground'. In fact, I don't think I can recall a place that is anymore 'aboveground' than this little city. And, after playing 'World, Hold On' for the fifty bazzillionth time followed by some remix of the latest top 10 pop tune, i decided to do my own version of the 'Now That's What I Call Music Series.'
All BS aside, I had fun mixing this little piece and it proved to be a neat little birthday gift for a close friend...
So here she is, 'I Can't Live Without My Radio' is a fun 70 some minutes of tunes with loads of energy that have ALL seen airtime at one moment or another. It's good for a cruise in the car or a spot at the gym.
oh, and for those you who know me, you know my sense of humor, so i hope someone's offended by the last tune.

So I've been in a bit of a funk lately... for one reason or another, i just couldn't get my head right. to anyone who's been there you know just what i mean.
To raise the down mood I've been in i turned to an old friend: house music. Now that the sun is shining a little brighter and the weather is a little warmer, i decided to make a mix that makes me think of Ocean Dr. Driving slowly with the sun on your face and off shore breeze seasoning your hair with that unmistakable scent.
and I've reinstituted an old danny k trademark, the addition of a little treat at the end of the mix.
