I really want to make a bassline. The prog I currently have is a cubase and ableton, im ordering a midi keyboard within the next week. What else should I get? Am I on the right track?

Maybe you should get a synth also to make the sound? A midi keyboard doesnt give you that much of soundoptions!

I can see why you're having trouble - you won't get very far trying to make a bassline with a snare. :conf:

This thread must be a hoax. If after reading the producers forum for even an hour of your day, and this is the most substantive question you can generate, then I'm afraid you're off your rocker

I'm more curious about the root of the inquiry. Like, did someone once say 'wow, check out that bassline' while Dilmeet was listening to some music... and rather than uderstanding what the person really meant, heard the music as a whole to be the 'bassline' instead of the bass part.

Yes, an Access Virus TI and an Alesis Andromeda A6 would be great starter synths.
I mean, why not two synths when you already have two sequencers? :D
