Yeah...it's MUCH better for myspace to catch your phisher and make you change your password! Otherwise whoever phished you will change your (supposedly unchangeable) URL to "outofthecloset696969" and in your 'about me' section retype something like "I'm a f@gg0t that sucks dicks for money." Happened to me. :( In fact here's my retarded post on it: "How did someone change my myspace URL?" |

| I changed my password and email multiple times, but I still kept receiving notices that my account had been phished. I went through my comments and deleted anything that didn't look right, and I deleted new people that I wasn't sure about. When that didn't resolve it I deleted the new info that I had edited my page with the day before. I removed two simple things and the phishing messages stopped. What words were removed? Paternal as in Paternal Grandfather and Amazing Race (TV show). How lame is that? :rolleyes: |
