hi guys
do any of the production gurus here know how the bassline in this tune is made? its full of energy and the kicks seem to have loads of flow to them if that makes sense
heres a sample:

he's bitcrushed the whitenoise loop on top and used a very heavy sub kick.
the kick is probably 3 layers deep and heres something i put together for you in under 10minutes.

here's a pick of what his waveform looks like and what you're trying ot achieve. normally we're not this nice because there are some great online tutorials on kicks that people are just too lazy to read

Here's my attempt, not got great monitors so prob mixed the bass too loud. :whip:
Paul Webster Corruption Version 1
Just whipped it up using VECS and a bass sample from an Alex Calver pack. Off beat with a low almost sub bass and a gated kick reverb.
If you listen to the original it's all about the timing, the bass is coming in slightly early giving it more energy and drive.
Listening to my first version I can see it's not tight enough, the bass is too loose would need to adjust the envelopes decay. So here it is - Paul Webster Corruption Version 2
