| thanks for everyone who made it out last night had a ing rocking time warming things up for desyn at stereo, all i have to say DESYN IS A ING BEAST completely destroyed it last night m gorsh what a ing NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Agreed, last time was a stronger set, guess the larger crowd pumped him up more last time. Nevertheless, he delivered several solid tracks, missed those fuzzy pushing baselines from last time though. Nicly done Maher. |

Ok so after getting completely destroyed at Tribe Thursday night, I somehow managed to go to work Friday evening and then to Stereo at 2am....and was in bed at 10am. :wtf:
Ok so Maher, I was skeptical about this performance considering you played Thursday night in DC, delayed flight, etc...Kinda stuff that makes people tired naturally...So honestly, I didn't think you were gonna deliver as well as you did. After your set at Tribe with Lee, I was super impressed with how driving and groovy your set ended up being...An excellent warm up for Lee without a doubt. And so for Desyn, I knew you were gonna play more deeper, housier, sexier, etc. But last night's set had ing attitude, it lured me into your groove, into your state of mind with your music...Great feeling, needless to say :) So, thank you for doing what was in my opinion a PERFECT warm up for Mr. Masiello. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this but seriously babe, you really rocked that PROPER last night and I wouldn't rather have been anywhere else. Awesome :)
Desyn blew my mind last time he played Stereo in November 06 so I thought I knew what to expect. He by far surpassed my expectations and delivered a verrrrrryyyyy diverse set genre wise: he incorporated absolutely stunning tracks from allllll kinds of genres: it ended up being a night of funky-tech-melodic-progressive-tribal-HOUSE MUSIC...He really went on fire around the last hour of his set, really started playing the bangers that make everyone go nuts. I know Desyn enjoyed his night thoroughly, he was dancing up a storm at certain points in the booth :)...Anyways, I really don't know where these comments are coming from that he wasn't that great but I suppose it's all a matter of subjective taste. Personally, he blew my mind and I'm happy about that.
Overall rating: 9.5/10. Thank you soooooo much to everyone who came out to support Maher, it's much appreciated :) Nice seeing the usuals + some newer faces (RayRay!!! I had so much fun with you :)) Next HUGE pasrty at Stereo: Howells on May 20th, see you mofos thurrrrrrrr!!! :disbelief |

I think Erika summed it up for me! Unfortunately since I've been sick all week I decided to disco-nap before going, so missed Maher's set :( But we got there around 5:30am and danced until the end, and yes, the last hour was friggin awesome.
Nice to see you again Jim, Erika and Maher, unfortunately we didn't see any other TAs there... Where were you hiding?
Is RayRay the Ray from Ottawa that introduced himself to me on the dancefloor at one point? |

I had a wicked night, was kinda unhappy to get there so late and miss Maher, but I personally thought Desyn ing owned. From 5:30-6:15 or so I wasn't really feeling what he was playing, was kinda synth-poppy and not super banging or anything, but then he really cranked it up and delivered bomb after bomb.

lots of fun... Maher u were incredible...
didnt really feel it for Desyn... music was a bit too loud i thought... so i spent 2 hours outside in the back just chillin...
Humm.... cant remember all the TAs that were there... humm.... Alex, Rayray, Stereohead, Maher (duh!), Kate, SeanWalsh, Kendo, John_H2O, licks.... im sorry if i forget other people...

Seriously, it wasn't my cup of tea...Was way better last november, at some point it was irregular, and I don't like that. It's the kind of music I'll enjoy more outside, like for a piknic.
